Amber Teething Necklace

Tuesday, November 30, 2010 I have been waiting for this for weeks! I ordered this necklace for Noah but it is made in Europe so it took quite awhile to finally get it. It is an Amber Teething Necklace. I have read about them the last several months and finally decided to order him one before he gets into full blown teething mode. Amber is a natural analgesic and anti-inflammatory. They are supposed to be completely amazing! And it looks super cute on! Here is a link that explains more about Amber jewelry.

The Repo Fairy

Monday, November 29, 2010 The highlight of the whole tooth fiasco for Mackenzie was definitely the fact that the Tooth Fairy was coming. Macy has lost 2 teeth so Mackenzie knew how it worked. She woke up in the middle of the night to get a drink and was stumbling around with her dollar saying "I got mundy!" And when I woke her up this morning she was snuggling her dollar. This is her half-awake I'm so excited for my dollar face.

But as the day went on I just kept thinking about all the pieces of the story that different people had told me about her knocking her tooth out. And it suddenly dawned on me that there was a good change the tooth was somehow jammed up in her gums and not knocked out. I called the dentist and they said to bring her right in. And the tooth was in fact was jammed so far up in her gums you could almost not see any part of it at all. They sent her to a pediatric dentist from there and kind of freaked us out making us think she was going to have to have surgery to get it out. But the pediatric dentist told us that since it hadn't broken it would most likely come back down on it's own. She goes back next week to see how things are going. This evening I was teasing Mackenzie that the Tooth Fairy was coming to take her dollar back and she said "No she has lots of dollars for all the kids that lose teeth. I can keep this one." Smart kid!

MY BABY KNOCKED A TOOTH OUT!!!

Sunday, November 28, 2010 Macy has not been feeling good all week so I decided me, her, and Noah would stay home form church this morning so hopefully she will be feeling well enough for school tomorrow. We have been so busy visiting all weekend she hasn't gotten as much rest as she should have. Jason took Mackenzie to church with him (with all her teeth!) and this is how she returned. Poor baby. She was playing around with some friends and she hit her tooth on the pew in front of her and knocked it out. They never did find the tooth so she most likely swallowed it. They said she was such a trooper and barely even cried. She is a pretty tough girl! I still can't believe it happened. She is going to have that little gap for several years. At least it was just a baby tooth and not a permanent one. She is excited the tooth fairy is coming though. We told her the tooth fairy knows she lost a tooth even though we are not sure where it it. She does look pretty cute all fancy in her church dress with a big ol' gap in her teeth!

I'm not a baby I am a MAN!!

Saturday, November 27, 2010 I found this hat for Noah and thought it was the absolute cutest thing ever!! He looks like such a little man. He just needs his pipe and reading glasses! We all thought it was even cuter that my Dad has a hat just like it. They make a good looking team.

Black Friday

Friday, November 26, 2010 I LLOOOOVVVEEE Black Friday! I have went every year since the year after Macy was born. Me and Holly almost always go together if she is in Oklahoma. We normally get up super early to start our shop-a-thon but this year a lot of store opened at midnight or a little after. So we never even went to bed. We cracked ourselves out on caffine and went all night! We started at Wal-Mart at midnight then tried to go to the mall (but it was closed) so we went over to Old Navy. We ended up in this line waiting for about an hour just to get in because there were so many people inside. (Crazy, I know!) And it was like 27 degrees outside. But as always we had a ton of fun. We went to Kohl's, Target, and then were in bed by 5:15 with bookoos off goodies!

Thanksgiving 2010

Thursday, November 25, 2010 We spent this Thanksgiving in Beggs with Jason's family. We don't get to see them very often so it was really nice spending the day getting to catch up with everyone. The girls have A LOT of cousins on his side of the family they don't get to spend enough time with either. They always have so much fun playing with everyone. There are 11 grand kids total with 1 more coming next month! More family fun with Jason's Nan, mom, sister Holly, brother in law Jud and our niece London! Jason's Nan and and Noah in his super cute Thanksgiving outfit. He had matching shoes too but I didn't get a picture of them. Noah was determined to not take a nap. He was having too much fun, but he eventually crashed and burned!

Popsicle Cravings

Wednesday, November 24, 2010 It was 82 degrees in Duncan today (CRAZY!) and Macy has had a sore throat so after dinner we decided we all needed some popsicles and ice cream. But we couldn't decide which we wanted so we got one of each! Macy and Kenzie picked the Scribblers, Jason the Minute Maid bars, and I wanted the Klondike Bars! Mmmmm......

Family Photos

Tuesday November 23, 2010 We had family pictures made a few weeks ago but I just got the CD this week. I really liked how they turned out and got some SUPER cute pictures of the kids. Prepare yourself for a photo bomb!!

Very Hungry Caterpillar

Monday, November 22, 2010 I found a website that I have learned most of my diaper sewing skills from (Babycenter) and people are always posting pictures of diapers and other things they have made. I love it because people always have helpful hints and that is where I get most of my ideas for my projects. Anyway I had posted a couple diapers and someone had commented how much they liked them. It made me feel pretty good because this other person actually has an online store that she sells her diapers in. We decided to swap a diaper just for fun. I was super excited she had this fabric because I have seen it online but you can't buy it in stores. This is the diaper she made me which is SO cute!!! Noah loved it too : )

Macy's Sewing Weekend

Sunday, November 21, 2010 Macy went and spent the weekend with her Grammy to learn how to sew and try a few projects. She picked these different fabrics and they pieced together this quilt. She sewed about half of the blocks together and her Grammy sewed the other half. She really enjoyed sewing and can't wait to do more. She knows how to work her machine but now I just need to teach her how to read a pattern and she will be off!

Frost Ya Fanny

Saturday, November 20, 2010 Me and my friend Natalie did the Frost Ya Fanny 5K run in Lawton today. It was actually really pretty out and about 65 degrees. I don't think I could have done it had it been really cold! I was really happy with our time considering I haven't been training at all. We both ran the whole thing and finished in about 35 minutes!

Noah - 8 Months

Friday, November 19, 2010 My big boy is 8 months old today!! He has mastered sitting up but is still no where near crawling. He has decided he likes real food, he never did eat baby food, but he still gags really easy so there is this very fine line of what he can and can't eat. On his list of favorites are yogurt, beans, and macaroni and cheese. He is starting to realize when we leave we are gone. He puckers up and kind of half cries when leave. It's ridiculously sad.

He has started to grab everything in sight. And I mean everything. He thinks everything belongs in his mouth. No bowl is safe! He managed to dump and entire bowl of Macy's milk and cereal in his lap a couple weeks ago. He also loves to wear his Daddy's hats. As Mackenzie would say, he's such a widdle cutie!!!

Ready To Sew!

Thursday, November 18, 2010 Macy has been so excited to learn to sew. She got her sewing machine at her birthday party but we have been super busy all week and haven't had time to get it out and she is going to her Grammy's this weekend to sew. She got all her sewing accessories in the mail today from her Aunt Holly, Uncle Jud, and cousin London. She immediately had to open all the packages AND insisted on opening the pins and putting every single one into the tomato. She told me she wanted to get everything "ready" so she didn't have to waste time doing that once she got to Grammy's house. That's my girl! Such a little planner!

Thanksgiving Diaper

Wednesday, November 17, 2010 I am developing some mad diaper making skills. I'm just saying.... This is what I created for Noah's Thanksgiving diaper (because you have a diaper for all major holidays. Duh). Deborah embroidered the turkey on the bootie but I put the rest together. It's soooooo cute! Noah is chilling in style!

IBC Glory

Tuesday, November 16, 2010 I meant to take a picture of me and Jason tonight because we got to have a little date night, but we were running short on time so it didn't happen. We went to Shawnee to the Baptist General Convention. We were kind of in a hurry so we ran into Taco Bueno to grab a quick bite and this is what awaited us. IBC on tap!!! I personally have never seen it and Jason has only found it one other place. Who would have though Taco Bueno in Shawnee, America would have such a treat! We both drank about 3 huge glasses. YUM!

Happy 6th Birthday Macy Blake!

Monday, November 15, 2010 Today was Macy's official birthday and she had fun celebrating it at school. She got to wear a birthday crown and brought cupcakes for the class! I think she felt pretty special. When she got home we all just hung out together and watched Toy Story 3. I told her she could have whatever she wanted for dinner and she picked macaroni and cheese. I know she won't always be so easy to please! We had a really fun night but I can't believe my baby is 6. It's hard to believe these pictures are her.... Macy Blake Ebenhack, 7 lbs, 14 oz. and 18.5 inches long (she was almost square!) Poor little yellow jaundiced thing. All stretched out! So precious and sweet!

Sleepover!

Sunday, November 14, 2010 Macy is getting old enough now I thought she would like to do a little something with her friends for her birthday. She decided on Braum's (which is one of her favorite places on Earth), a movie, and she had Riley over to spend the night. Here are 3 joyous faces knowing ice cream is imminent. The only kid movie on right now was Mega Mind so that is what we went to see. It was super cute! And it was in 3D so here they all are sporting their super cool 3D glasses! I didn't get a picture of them in the morning because they ended up sleeping split up because they COULD NOT stop talking. Finally at 11:30 we had to break the party up!

Macy's 6th Birthday Party

Saturday, November 13, 2010 Today was Macy's 6th Birthday Party! She kept asking for a "Wedding" birthday party. I tried to suggest other themes but she was adamant. So I just went with it! I made her a wedding vale out of one of her princess crowns. Here she is all pumped up and ready to open presents! The eager crowd of onlookers! Who doesn't love to watch people open presents?!? This was one of her favorite presents. Her Grammy and PaPa Bruce got her a sewing machine. She has been BEGGING for a sewing machine since she has been watching me sew so much lately. This should be interesting! Mackenzie and her Aunt Ray Ray! Macy with her Wedding birthday cake and her buddies. Noah was not excited about being part of this picture! My Birthday Girl! Make a wish!

Birthday Cake Awesomeness!

Friday, November 12, 2010 This is what I spent my evening doing! Macy wanted a "Wedding" birthday party. So this is supposed to be a mini version of a wedding cake. I thought it turned out pretty cute!

My Lunch Date

Thursday, November 11, 2010 Macy's school does a program with the kindergartner's where if they read or have someone read to them 10 books each month they get a coupon for a free pan pizza from Pizza Hut. We read a lot of books at our house so it didn't take Macy long to get her first coupon. It was a few weeks before it worked out where I could go get her but it was worth the wait. It was so much more fun and special to her that she got to leave school for lunch and get to go eat lunch with just me (no brother or sister)!
