Bowling!

Sunday, May 29, 2011
Tonight was family night at church so we had dinner and went bowling with the Dickerson clan.  Family Fun Day!  Me and Carrie got Chinese and Jason, BJ, and the kids got pizza.  Everyone was happy!  It has been forever since we have been bowling but the bowling alley here is Duncan has been renovated and is really nice.  They have bumpers and these ramps for the kids to make it easier for them to bowl, and Sunday nights is $1 bowling, holla!
The kids (and adults) had SO SO much fun.  Mackenzie may or may not have beat me and BJ.  The child has a gift.

Zoo!

Saturday, May 28, 2011
We love the Zoo!  We go whenever we have a chance.  We went with Grammy today and it was beautiful but HOT.  They have a little splash pad area for the kids in the Children's Zoo the kids had a good time playing in and cooling off.
We feed the lorikeets and this one took a liking to Deborah!
Noah was a little nervous at first but after a few minutes got brave and decided to touch one.
Macy was so cute.  She loves feeding them but DID NOT want one on her.  So she was very careful to feed them so they wouldn't jump on her arm.

Fun Friday

Friday, May 27, 2011
Jason took the girls fishing this morning and they had so much fun.  They caught quite a few fish big enough to eat.  Jason cleaned them so we could have fried fish tomorrow.  Yum!
Mackenzie spent the night with one of her best buddies Karmen tonight.  It was her first official night spending the night with a friend.  Her and Karmen have been buddies since they were born.  She had SO much fun and of course was not at all ready to come home.

Headbands

Thursday, May 26, 2011
We played one of the girls games today called Headbands.  We all have to wear these goofy headbands and then take turns putting a card on your head.  You have to ask questions about the card that they answer and you try to guess what's on your card.  It actually turned out to be really fun and the girls got really creative with the questions they were asking.  Good brain exercise!

Demolition Day

Wednesday, May 25, 2011
The linoleum in our front bathroom is our last flooring project we have yet to tackle.  We bought tile months ago and so I decided to start ripping up the old tile today.  Once you start you have to finish, right?  It was WAY harder getting up than I thought, but hopefully soon we will have some pretty ceramic tile floors!

What A Nutter.

Tuesday, May 24, 2011
Another one of Noah's adventures.  He figured out how to push the girls stool over to the bench, climb up on the bench, and then on the table.  He was quite proud of himself.

The King and Queen

Monday, May 23, 2011
Mackenzie's drawing skills have gotten so good the last couple months.  She drew this today and told me it is her and her friend Zack when they grown up and become the King and Queen.  So cute and creative!

First Splash Pad Trip of the Summer!

Sunday, May 22, 2011
We LOVE the splash pad!  It's the perfect place to take the kids to cool off but I don't have to worry about trying to keep 3 kids from going under.  Noah and Mackenzie were a little unsure at first but after a few minutes they were both in the middle of things.
Macy is my water kid.  She grows fins in the summer!
Mackenzie has fun as long as her face doesn't get wet!

We Love Us Some Cousins

Saturday, May 21, 2011
The kids got to hang out with their cousins all day today playing and riding horses.  They love seeing them, it's sad they live so far away.  Here is Mackenzie and Ethan.

London, Mackenzie, and Rhyan
Noah riding Noah the horse.  They are a match made in heaven.  He was a little nervous at first but by the time we were done he didn't want to get off!
They had a rope swing out on a tree and I was so proud of Macy, she could hang with the boys on that rope swing.  Caleb was really pushing her!
Jason's cousin Ashley has amazing hair skills and she fixed the girls hair before the wedding.  I have ZERO hair skills.  So the girls are always excited to get cute do's.
Awesome!
The sister's riding together.
Four pretty ladies at the wedding.  London, Macy, Mackenzie, and Rhyan.
Noah cheesing it up!

Pops!

Friday, May 20, 2011
On our way to Beggs stopped at Pop's.  Me and the girls had never been so it was really neat to see.  They loved picking out what kind of soda they wanted.
It was mildly overwhelming to say the least trying to decide.  And this was only one wall.  There was another one just like this on the other side.  It was really neat, I wish we lived closer and could go more often.

Last Day of Kindergarten!

Thursday, May 19, 2011
This was Macy on her first day of kindergarten.
Here she is on her last day.  She looks so grown up : (  She was very excited though because they had a lot of fun things planned at school and then she gets to start her 99 days of summer fun!
Here she is with her teacher Mrs. Carroll getting a certificate for reading 100 books this year.

Abandon Ship!

Wednesday, May 18, 2011
Macy lost another tooth tonight and Jason has been teasing her that her teeth are abandoning ship.  They are falling out left and right it seems.  Since tomorrow is her last day of school she wanted to take her tooth to school for show and tell.  But she thought that we needed to write the Tooth Fairy a note explaining what was going on.  She also wanted to leave the Tooth Fairy a little snack.  She choose the bread and tore it into tiny pieces (so it would be easier for the Tooth Fairy to eat) and she told me exactly what to write in the note.  Then she signed her name at the bottom.  So cute!

Breakfast In Bed

Tuesday, May 17, 2011
Macy is such a self sufficient little thing.  She gets herself totally ready on school days all by herself.  This morning she woke up extra early so she got dressed, fixed her hair, brushed her teeth, and made her breakfast.  Today she decided to make my breakfast too.  She brought this and a Diet Dr. Pepper to me in bed.  It was SO sweet!  She knows peanut butter with bananas is my favorite.  And she said, "I wasn't sure if you like the bread toasted, but I don't know how to work the toaster."  I thought that was so funny.  It was the best breakfast I have ever had.

New Chicks In Town

Monday, May 16, 2011
I picked up 4 new chickens today to keep Chicken company.  She is getting pretty lonely and we need more eggs!
Noah was completely fascinated by the chickens.  He stood at the box and watched for the longest time.

Blueberry Scones and Lemon Curd

Sunday, May 15, 2011
I had this a few months ago at a tea room and I NEEDED to make these.  It was surprisingly not that hard and delicious.  MMMMMM!!

Macy's Last Soccer Game

Saturday, May 14, 2011
Today was Macy's last soccer game of the season.  She played hard and learned a lot.  Just the last couple games was she really getting some confidence.  I loved watching her play.
She played against one of her best buddies Mikayla today.
Kenzie was pumped her Zacky was there.
Me and Macy's soccer picture.
The girls all got medals which they were SO excited about.
Go Lil' Angels!!!!

Zoo Day

Friday, May 13, 2011
We spent the day at the zoo with the McNeill family!  4 adults, 6 kids, it's party time!  Seriously how cute are these girls?!  Even though they just met each other about 30 minutes before, you would never know by looking at them.  They instantly buddied up.
Noah kicking it in his stroller.
We got to see the BA-BEEEEE ELEPHANT Maylee!  It was seriously one of the cutest things I have EVA seen!  She looked like a little squeaky toy next to her Momma and aunt.  It's crazy to think she weighed 360 pounds when she was born.
So adorable.

Extreme cuteness.  Macy, Haylee, Mackenzie, and Reeselyn.
This goat took a liking to Jason in the petting zoo.  He just kept licking his arm.
Macy was like the goat whisperer.  Now she wants a goat.

Mackenzie and Zack

Thursday, May 12, 2011
Mackenzie had one of her best buddies Zack over today to play.  They love hanging out!

Silly Bubba and Sissy

Wednesday, May 11, 2011
Noah and Mackenzie had today fun being silly with their bunny ears from Easter.
They have so much fun together.  I can't believe Macy will be out of school in a week or so and next year they will both be in school.  Noah isn't going to know what to do without The Sisters to play with!
