Noah has done this thing with his feet since he was born. We though by now he would have stopped doing it as his legs stretched out and relaxed a little. But he still does it all the time and it is so ridiculously cute. Anytime he is laying on his back he always bends his knees and puts his feet together. He has little monkey feet.
Family Fun Day!
Today was Family Fun Day. It is rare that we are all home together with no plans. Whenever those days come around we try to do fun things with the kids. I love that our girls look forward to these days so much. They love Family Fun Day!
The Duncan High School cheerleaders were putting on a cheer camp for the elementary age kids. Macy wanted to go so bad so that is what she did that morning. They even did a little dance at the end. She was so cute and they said she was a natural ; )
After naps we hit the snow cone stand and the park, which is a favorite of the whole family. I know it won't be long till it starts to cool off and the snow cone stands close up. I think Noah felt a little cheated... Jason tried to give him a little bite but he HATES cold things, so he didn't like it.

This is the first time we have been to the park that Noah has been old enough to try out the baby swings. He LOVED it!!! He just giggled and smiled the whole time. Sweet baby boy!
Stephens County Fair
The Stephens county fair was in town this weekend. We have taken the girls the last few years and they LOVE the fair! We walk through all the show barns and the girls pet the animals. We walk through the buildings and the girls mooch candy and balloons. They rode the little choo choo train. And then we finished out the evening with the rodeo. We all had a great time!
Biker Chick

Isn't she the cutest little biker ever?! Totally rocking the Huffy. She has mastered riding her bike. I am so proud of her because we couldn't get Macy on a bike until about 6 months ago. But she followed her sister lead and took off. She is the cutest thing to watch because she goes into her own little world and just pedals along and sings to herself and sways her little head back and forth. It's SO adorable!
Story Time
Noah's First Avocado
Today was Noah's first official meal! I had planned on waiting till he was about 6 months but he has become obsessed with watching people eat. It was getting pretty pitiful. And since he got a tooth and has been sitting up better I decided to go ahead and give it a try. I mashed up an avocado for him to try. That was Mackenzie's first food too. It took him a quite a few bites to get the hang of it, but by the end he liked it!
Whhaaaatttt??? Mom, why are you doing this to me?!?!?

Bubs Scrubs- Mackenzie
Brudder - Mackenzie

Chubby Bubby - Jason (I am sure Noah is praying that this one gets forgotten soon)

My Little Quichua Girls
Jason brought the girls back these super cute outfits. They are traditional outfits of the Quichua. They are the people that live in the area that they visited on their mission trip to Ecuador. The girls loved their outfits and looked so adorable!
Watermelon Festival 5K
After my 6 week check up with Noah I decided I wanted to get back into running. I started with the Couch 2 5K program. I made it all the way through and have moved onto Bridge 2 10K. I really enjoy running even though I am not at all a natural runner. I have to make my body do it. I was always one of the slowest runners when we had to run our mile in high school basketball. But I am determined to overcome it. Me and my friend Natalie that I work with decided to do this one together. I am so glad I had a friend to do it with. It made it much more fun! This was my first official 5K road race. It was in what I believe may be the hilliest town in America, Rush Springs. The whole race was up and down HUGE hills! It was a really hard one to start with I think but I am so glad we did it. I came in with a time of 35:37. I am happy with how well I did and really enjoyed the whole experience. I am already signed up for another one next weekend and hope to do many more!

First Day of Kindergarten AND Macy Lost Her 2nd Tooth!
Macy was super excited about starting school today! She met her teacher earlier this week and has really been looking forward to going back. I am so thankful she loves school. I see these kids crying and clinging to their parent's legs and I am so glad she doesn't do that! She is such a big girl and I am so proud of her!

Off To Ecuador
This is what I spend a good part of my evening doing. Refreshing the Continental website to see where Jason and Rachel's plane was. They left today from Houston to go to Ecuador for a week. I am not usually nervous when people fly. Jason has been to Ecuador several times before. But I had a bad dream about this exact flight several years ago. I know that was a long time ago but if was super vivid and has stuck with me. Two of the most important people in my life were on that plane. And it doesn't help things either that me and Jason have been watching Lost and it's all about a plane crash!
I could finally go to bed once I saw this. Landed safe and sound. I talked to Jason today and he said everything went smooth and they were getting off to a great start. God is good!
