I drug myself out of bed early to run this morning and this is what I got to see!
Sausage Pancakes

I was laying on the couch earlier this week watching a movie, not even about food, and I had this clear as day vision. I needed to put crumbled cooked sausage IN MY PANCAKES. It was seriously so strange but vivid. I have always loved eating them together. I finally made it today and it was as awesome as I had imagined.

The Chapman's invited the kids to spend the night so me and Jason had a night out! We went and saw Saving Mr. Banks and Catching Fire and had sushi for dinner. Pretty much a perfect night.

Macy got her shorter cast today and she was so happy to be able to move her arm more. And get a new cast color. Because how you look in your cast is very important when you are 9.

Not much has been going on lately. It's that time of year we are all getting sick and doing out best just survive and not die. Macy came down with a horrible case of strep this week. She looked so pitiful sick with her cast. Life has not been kind to her lately.
Giant Pizza

The girls ran errands with Jason today and he took them to Sam's for lunch. Kenzie was VERY impressed that the pizza was "bigger than her head". Our kids are easily pleased.

Happy New Years!! We celebrate today like we do every year and had lunch at my Pop's. We all are at least 1 black eyed pea for good luck!

Macy and a friend were playing outside today and they decided it was a "good" idea to climb over the fence. Macy fell from the top and managed to break her wrist. And thankfully since it was the 31st we still had 1 day of insurance left. Talk about cutting it close.
