Christmas Parties and Plays Oh My!

Today was a day full of Christmas fun! Both girls had they Christmas parties at school. Me and Noah went and helped and he thought it was the best thing ever because everyone wanted to give him candy and cookies.
That night we had our church Christmas play which is always exciting. The kids did awesome!
And... Happy Birthday Mom!! I love you!!

Noah is still just as obsessed as before with trains and there is a little train museum in Duncan that has two actual train cars. One you can walk into and the other you can't but Noah has been begging to go. He loved it south he cried when we finally had to leave.

Santa was at Cherry Berry this afternoon which is a double win. Yogurt AND getting to see Santa! The kids all told him what they wanted for Christmas and Noah even sat on his lap. I wasn't quite sure what he would think but he did great.

I have tried to learn to French braid for years. The girls love having their hair French braided and I have never been able to figure it out. I finally decided I WAS going to learn so I watched a YouTube video about 173 times and I think I have finally got the hang of it. Kind of.

I have this ceramic Christmas tree my mom have me that we have had since I was a little kid. I always loved it and she gave to me several years ago. It was missing a lot of the lights and each year I never got around to replacing them because i had no idea where to find them. This year I got on Etsy and ordered some. Finally it looks complete!

Mackenzie was chosen as the student of the month in her class in December. She was sick the day she was supposed to get her certificate. The poor kid seems to get sick at the worst times and miss fun stuff at school. But here is her with her certificate. We are so proud of her!!

We needed more firewood and the girls were not home so me and Noah went with Jason to help. Noah was so excited to help! He is so ridiculously cute. Jason cute him a lot of small pieces so he could load them. He has to learn all the skills now so he can take care of us when we get old!

I can't believe we did it but we did! 26.5 miles and Jason did 13.1. The course was so hard and hilly. About 14 miles in we were all hurting but we were determined to not give up. The whole last 8 miles I kept telling myself that it was the stupidest thing I had ever decide to do. But when I got to the finish line that all went away. It is such an amazing feeling of accomplishment!! We didn't walk and we didn't cry so I feel like it was a success!
