Seriously.

Tigger

Saturday, July 16, 2011
I totally lost my garage sale Mo-Jo today and NO ONE would bargain with me!  It was awful!  I thought people would be way less likely to bargain Friday because they still had all of Saturday left but it was the opposite.  I got a ton of deals Friday but Saturday people were just like no, no, no....  And I have a hard time paying full price even at a garage sale!  One thing I was looking for was more dress up clothes for the kids.  The love to play dress up and they have a few friends that are boys and when they come over all we have is dresses.  So I wanted to get some more boy stuff for them and Noah.  First thing Saturday morning I found this adorable like new Tigger costume.  It was marked $5, I offered $3, NO.  $4??? NO.  Fine then, keep your costume!  But all day I just kept thinking about it.  I decided to go back at noon.  If it was gone it wasn't meant to be (that's my motto) and surely by now they would come down if it was still there.  I got it for $4!  It's the principal.  And Noah looked SO cute in it!

Garage Saleing!

Friday, July 15, 2011
Today is one of my favorite days of the year!  The annual Duncan city wide garage sale.  It's sad, I know, but I really love garage saleing.  It combines my two favorite things, getting bargain and shopping.  I was all ready with my cash!

Harry Potter Madness!

Thursday, July 14, 2011
Tonight was the very last Harry Potter movie.  Jason, Rachel, Savannah and I got tickets to the midnight show and we thought what better to celebrate than to have a Hogwarts feast!  We started with Butterbeer.  Yum!
Macy and Mackenzie were thoroughly impressed with the Butterbeer.
I made a treacle tart.
Roast lemon herb chicken.
Roasted veggies.
Savannah made Polyjuice potion!
And chocolate frogs!  Everything was soooo good!  A friend got me a Harry Potter cookbook (thanks Ryan!) for my birthday that had recipes for different foods they eat in the books.   It was super fun and we love going to the midnight premiers.  The movie was so good but we all agreed it was a little bittersweet.  It's sad that they have made all the movies and this is the end.   But now we can just keep watching the movies over and over.....

Here Kitty, Kitty....

Wednesday, July 13, 2011
Jason got this picture of Noah looking out the kitty door into the garage.  He is so cute.

Son Surf VBS

Tuesday, July 12, 2011
The girls went to a VBS at a church here in Duncan a couple weeks ago and made these.  I thought they were so cute and they were starting to come apart from a certain little brother getting a hold of them, so I wanted to get a picture before they were gone.

New and Improved Craft Time

Sunday, July 10, 2011
Noah's new favorite thing is climb on the kitchen table.  He has figured out how to pull the chairs out, and he isn't content to just sit in the chairs like everyone else.  He is like a goat and feels like he has to reach the highest point of where ever he is.  Today he was "supervising" the girls coloring.  He actually did pretty good and only managed to color his face with one marker.

Tea Room and Hairspray

Saturday, July 9, 2011
The girls love tea parties and ever since me and Jason told them about the tea room that we ate at they have wanted to go so bad.  We surprised them with tickets to Hairspray and thought it would be the perfect time to go since they would be dressed up for the play.
Fancy lady!
This is the kids tray.  Isn't it so adorable?!
The girls loved Hairspray and since there were a lot of kids there the cast came out after it was over for pictures and autographs.  The girls got several autographs but they wanted their picture made with Amber.  So cute!

Dress Like A Cow Day

Friday, July 8, 2011
For the 3 people that still read this blog you have probably noticed I haven't posted anything in awhile.  I made it a full year doing a picture a day!  That was my original plan, and I made it.  But life has gotten busier with Noah into EVERYTHING!  I am going to keep posting but I am not going to worry about doing a picture each day.  I also just started with a online group that is reading the Bible in 90 days and that has been taking a big chunk of my spare time, but I think it's a good trade off!   So I will make sure and take pictures of the highlights and keep on posting!

Me and the girls got all cowed up for the annual Chick Fil A dress like a cow day.  You dress like a cow, you get a free meal!  You can't beat that in my book!  And the girls think it's fun.

Farewell Country House

Tuesday, July 5, 2011
Macy is a grasshopper catching fool.  Then she told us she had to name them all before she had to say goodbye, because they were bait for fishing.
Fun mule rides!
We caught several little fish!
Noah wanted to do nothing but play on the mule and pretend to drive and honk the horn.  Such a boy!
Macy and her fish.
My giant catch.
Our puzzle we did over the weekend!

Happy 4th of July!

Monday, July 4, 2011
Since last year Round Top has went from 77 to 90!
Pretty girls waiting on the parade.
Me and my Honey.
Yay parade!
Noah LOVED the horses!  He kept waving at them as they went by.
Here they come!
Uncle Jud holding Noah.  I just love this picture!
At one point Mackenzie decided she had enough of the parade and went to sit in the truck.  When we noticed her she had candy wrappers strung out everywhere and a mouth full of candy.  Jason said she looked like Templeton from Charlotte's Web after the fair.
Me and the Chubby Bubby.
This people riding cows always fascinate me.  I didn't know you could ride cows.....
Me and my Macy!
Happy 4th of July!

Country House Day 2

Sunday, July 3, 2011
Another day of fun!  Jason let Mackenzie help him drive back to the other house and Mackenzie thought she was a pretty big deal.  Noah was sitting in my lap and was EXTREMELY angry he was letting his sister drive and not him.
Crazy cousins!

The Country House

Saturday, July 2, 2011
We got to the Country House today for a long weekend of relaxation.
I love the look on Mackenzie's face.  She was not in the mood to be loved by her sister.
Adorable boy!

RIP Big Mossy

Friday, July 1, 2011
Jason cooked up some fish and Big Mossy tonight.  Macy loved it.  I was just really grossed out.

New Tile!

Thursday, June 30, 2011
Yay!  We finally got the front bathroom tile all finished.  It looks so good!  We have officially replaced ever bit of flooring in our house except for the tile in our entry way.  This was my last big project for awhile and it feels nice to get it over with.

Mud Pit

Wednesday,  June 29, 2011
We went to the Splash Pad today and Noah thought that was fun for awhile till he found this little mud puddle and then I couldn't keep him out.  So I just let him go.  It kept him happy so the girls could play with their friends a little longer.

Handyman

Tuesday, June 28, 2011
We got a new entertainment center tonight and Noah was soooo excited to help Jason put it together.  It's funny how the love of tools is just hard wired into little boys.

Noah's New Swimming Hole

Monday, June 27, 2011
Noah has fascination with the bathroom has reached an all time high.  He has figured out that he can crawl into the toilet and then splash and it's like his own little mini swimming pool.  Awesome.  Good thing I keep the toilet relatively clean.  We are trying out best to deter him but it's proving to be difficult.
